Isla Mujeres

A small island off of the coast of Cancun.

Where We Stayed

A. Hotel La Joya - South on the island with amazing sunset views. Cool lizards too.

Where We Ate

A. Q'Bravo - Can't beat $1 (USD) tacos.

B. The Joint - Live Reggae music with a dog that chills on the stage.

C. Zama - Touristy as hell, but octopus tacos on the beach is pretty amazing.

D. Green Demon - Two words: spicy mango margarita.

E. Street Crepes - Not a restaurant, just any street crepe vendor. It's like a waffle cone, but with banana and nutella instead of ice cream.

F. Cafe Mogagua - Blended frappe, huevos rancheros, and everything good on this world.

G. Mango Cage - Amazing smoothies and quesadillas.

H. The Coffee Break - Holy mochaccino Batman.

I. Javi's Cantina - Fresh fish, ceviche, and salsa. Best meal we had on the island.

Places We Went

A. Playa Central - Nice beach.

B. Playa Norte - Another nice beach. More bars and beach clubs on this one.

C. Punta Sur - Southern tip of the island. Also the most eastern point of Mexico.

D. Coco Cart Rental - Fast golf carts for cheap.

Thoughts

While this wasn’t our typical vacation (we like cities), it was a nice chance to get away and relax before moving. Shout out to Molls for always taking great photos.
